Happy Easter!!!

"Happy Easter, everybody!"

This is my bunny cake. I'm very proud of this bunny cake. I wanted to make a special dessert and my mom told me about the bunny cake. Here it is...

I even gave him a tail!

Here are our Easter Cuties on Grandma and Grandpa's front steps.

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's

Little girls love to play Dress Up. Isn't she a hoot?

Here Kyla is "playing cards" with Gigi. In other words she plays with the cards and Gigi watches. She won't let you actually touch the cards. "No, Gigi. I do it."

Colton catches a few Z's in his favorite spot. I'm sure Grandpa doesn't mind one bit.

Kyla and the bunny cake. It was cute I almost hated to eat it. Okay, that emotion was short lived, it was a good cake!

Mommy had to do a trial run with the sponge curlers before Easter. Kyla did a great job of holding still, which is not easy for a 2 year old. She had the very important job of handing Mommy a curler when she needed one!

The Before. "Cheese!!"

The After. Isn't it adorable? We are so going to do this for Easter!

Okay. Kyla had a very busy day. First she found the Vick's Vapor Rub on the stairs (Mommy hadn't put it away yet - bad Mommy, bad). So Kyla says to herself, "Hey! This looks like that lotion stuff for my chapped cheeks. I had better put some on... oh, much better... I better put some on my lips too... and over here... oh and a great big glob here... "

A few hours later, she decided that some nail polish remover looked like juice and drank it (again Mommy hadn't put it away yet - bad Mommy, very bad). Thankfully there wasn't much left in the bottle. Poison Control assured me that unless she was continuously vomitting she would be okay. Whew! Then, as if that wasn't enough, Kyla found some nail polish at Grandma's house and decided to paint her nails. And her fingers. And her lips (Grandma hadn't put it away yet - bad Grandma, bad. At least I come by it naturally). Anyway... I figured since Kyla had already drank some nail polish remover earlier that day, a little more on her lips to remove the polish would be just fine. What a day!! I am now oh so much more vigilant of things lying around. Lesson learned.
