Happy Birthday, Max!

We all piled into the car to drive down and visit my brother's family. We were going to celebrate baby Max's first birthday. Why is it at family gatherings the women all gather in the kitchen...
And the men in front of the TV?

Poor Judaya was just trying to walk into the living room and she was suddenly bombarded! Kids all over her! I think they like her.

Here's the birthday boy! Such a happy little guy.

"...Happy birthday dear Max, Happy birthday to you."

Colton and his cousin Will were up in Judaya's bunk bed. They thought they were so cool up on the top bed with their sunglasses on...

Gigi discovers the Wii! She kicked some butt in bowling!

Kyla and her cousing Judaya. She didn't let Judaya out of her sight the entire weekend!

The goggles make the outfit, don't you think?

Here's Will on the new cruiser...

Say "cheese," Papa!

All but one kiddo all cuddled up.

Here's the whole gang:

Colton, Will, Judaya, Max, and Kyla

Justina had given us a bunch of Judaya's old clothes for Kyla. Kyla just LOVES anything from Judaya. As soon as we got home she tried on the first of many outfits.

Like Father, Like Son

Here he is, going through the Sunday paper...

Colton has learned how to take his pants off. He wanted to go outside and see what Dadddy was doing so like a good boy, he put his boots on first. I thought having Brady keep his pants on was hard work...

I love these next two. Here's how I found Colton one Sunday morning - just like Daddy. The only difference was Cartoons were on the TV and instead of fishing.

Honestly, you can't teach this stuff...

Fun with Friends

We went to the Cimenski's house and let the kids go crazy. Here is our attempt to calm things down and let the adults have an entire uninterrupted conversation. Jammies and Cinderella.

Izzy, Abby, Brynn, and Kyla

We had the Peterson's over and same thing... jammies and a movie. All the kids cuddle up on the couch. This time I believe the movie was Shrek.

Ahhh...

Remember this? Kyla was 2-1/2 here and found the Vicks Vapor Rub. She had heard it can do wonders for the skin so she applied it liberally to her entire face. Thank goodness her brother didn't do this...

He used Aquaphor.

Big Boy Bed!

Colton loves all things involving trucks and tools. I found this quilt online and had to get it for Colton's Big Boy Room.

I think he likes it!
