Mom and Dad finally got around to getting us a pool. Colton and I just love it! Check it out!

Uncle Kris, Auntie Justina, and cousins Judaya and Will were in town for a few days. It was so good to see them. Since they were here we had to get a picture of "Gigi" with her great-grandchildren.

Will (19 mos), Judaya (8 yrs), Colton (9 mos), Gigi (30 yrs+), and Kyla (2 yrs)

"What are they doing, Gigi?"

"What the hell are you feeding him?"

"That's much better."

"Oooh... I don't know if I like this sprinkler stuff. It's pretty cold."

"Stupid sprinkler."

"Hey look! A ball!"

"This is more my style! I don't want to run through the sprinkler, I just want to bang this ball all day..."

Our attempt at a group picture, but the kids just didn't want to cooperate.

"Look, I'm sitting on the couch like a big boy!"

"Cheese!"

"Watch out world! I'm on the move now!"

"Look Mom, one hand!"

"Hi guys!"

"Peek-a-boo!"

Kyla just loves to take those plastic easter eggs and wear them on her toes as shoes. She'll walk all around the house just like this. Goofy girl.

Ahhh...

Kyla's First Fishing Outing

I don't know who was more excited, Brady or Kyla. We all piled into the truck and drove to a small nearby lake. As soon as you'd put the line in the water, the Sunnies would clean your hook. Perfect for short attention spans. Brady showed Kyla how to cast and reel in, but being that she's only 2 1/2, it didn't sink in a whole lot. Brady would cast the line for her and she would reel it in - most of the way. She loved it - the entire 10 minutes.

Daddy's showing her how to "work it..."

"Here fishy, fishy..."

"Momma, look!! I got a big one!"

Well, now if you've seen the earlier posts, you'll know that this isn't that unusual for our darling daughter. Apparently she read in Cosmo that mustard is great for the pores. This child will get into everything. Just this past weekend she ate my contact lenses! That's right, ate them! "It yucky, Momma." No kidding! Now I know I said I was going to be more vigilant, but who would have thought that she would eat contacts? There's never a dull moment with this one.

Heart Walk 2007.
I took the kids to the Heart Walk this year. Kyla made sure to bring her baby. It was so fun to see everyone with their kids. Kyla got to see an old friend from daycare that she hasn't seen for awhile. To this day she still talks about how she got to see Kaylynn.
