The girls after a long hard day of playing.

Justina and Max.

All the kids adore little Max. The poor guy didn't know what to do.

Ahhhh... like father like son.

Finally, Kyla goes down the slide! It only took her until Sunday morning. What can I say, she does things in her own time. Once she started though she didn't want to stop.

Now I know the styles in a small town can sometimes be... different. But this is ridiculous. Cute, Kris. Cute!

Here's the boys on the swings. Again.

That's all Folks!

The Theif Strikes Again!

I made some banana bread for our trip to my brother's. Thankfully I made two.

Hi, Everyone! Colton and I came down with a little summer virus so Mom is home with us today. In one of our fever induced naps she took the time to update the blog. Enjoy!

Daddy Daycare?

No... Brady bought a... bike trailer? I think that's what you call it, I don't know. Now he can take the kids with him when he goes for a ride and give Mom a little peace and quiet.

The kids loved it! Colton had a hard time getting out. He wanted Dad to go longer.

The Incredible Coltini!

I thought it was too quiet...

Mister Man had climbed up the changing table, grabbed his nuk, and covered himself in Eucerin!

We have sinced banished the changing table to the basement.

Summer's here!!

Finally it was warm enough to break out the pool. The water was still a little cold so Colton wasn't fond of actually standing in it. He was just fine having Mom hold him. Kyla was a trooper though. After a little hesitation and demonstration from Mom she finally climbed in.
Colton was just fine on the side lines.

Colton found Daddy's minnow net and played with that.

Oops, he got his hands wet. Better dry them off!

Kyla loved splashing in the water. Especially if she could splash Colton.

"Sorry, Coltie!"

I don't know what he was trying to catch with that net, but he wouldn't put it down.

Brave child. That water was cold!!

The Many Faces of Colton

He is such a funny kid. We've been blessed with two wonderfully funny kids. Colton was demonstrating his "range" one afternoon during lunch. I couldn't keep from laughing. He'd just give me a look to see how I'd react. Look out, Hollywood, he's starting early.

Confused.

Coy.

Pouting.

And my favorite...

So very happy!

Movie Night

This is one of Kyla's favorites. We'll put in one of her favorite movies, pop some pocorn and have a little "picnic" in the family room. Colton doesn't really care about the movie, he's just happy to eat.

BUSTED!

One morning the kids and I made some Peanut Butter Cookies. When we were done I left the cookies on the island in the kitchen to cool. Then we all went downstairs to play. When we came back up Kyla needed help with something and I had kinda forgotten about the cookies. Colton apparently hadn't. While I was busy with Kyla he had marched right behind the island, helped himself to three cookies and sat down where I couldn't see him! Stinker!

"Do you want some, Mom? This one only has a little drool on it!"
