I had the opportunity to chaperone on one of the daycare field trips this year. I am so glad that I did!!
What a blast this was!! It was incredible! Highly reccommended. They have all kinds of animals - some penned some not. The Grizzley bears, Bobcats and such were caged, but the deer, goats, ducks, geese, chickens, and rabbits would just roam around. They had no problem coming right up to you looking for food. At first some of the kids weren't quite sure what to do, but they warmed up quickly. They were instructed to hold their hands flat and fingers together. Otherwise the animals might think their fingers were carrots and bite. Here's Kyla feeding a deer. Last year she didn't like it at all, but this year she was willing to give it a try. As you can see, the animals just make themselves at home. I can't tell you how many noses I had in... undesirable areas.
Colton had no problem sharing his tray on the stroller. The goats and smaller deer just loved it!
